Autumn Events at Minnetrista

Upcoming events at Minnetrista include a Gingerbread Methods Workshop Saturday, November 1, 1 - 3 p.m.
Discover the exciting world of gingerbread! Barbara Dorton, supervisor of the Atrium at Ball State University, will guide you through some of the intricate details of creating gingerbread masterpieces. You'll even receive a special party favor!
Registration deadline: Wednesday, October 29. Price: Members, $10; non-members, $15.

Warm Glass Workshop: Mini-Serving Plate
Wednesday, November 12 5:30 - 8 p.m.
Create a serving plate just in time for the holidays! Learn tricks to cut a circle from glass, make a fiber paper mold, and use your creativity to make a serving plate to take home.
Registration deadline: Monday, November 10. Price: Members, $15; non-members, $20.

PBS Program Club

We'll watch and discuss "Ride Along the Lincoln Highway."

Minnetrista Minne-Trip: Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth

Satisfy your sweet tooth with a trip to DeBrand Fine Chocolates in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We'll follow a trail of all things sweet: three chocolate kitchens, a fine chocolate shopping experience, and of course, dessert.
Registration deadline: Friday, November 21. Price: Members, $30; non-members, $35.

Show & Tell: Gingerbread Houses
Saturday, November 8
1:30 - 3 p.m.
ACF certified chefs Chef Heather Pier, CC and Chef Will Wolfe, CC from Ivy Tech Culinary Program will demonstrate gingerbread house construction and decoration. Ask questions and get tips from a professional; take home recipes for building your own gingerbread house.
Price: included with general admission (Child/Student $4; Senior $6; Adult $7; Members FREE). No registration is needed.

Cyberchase(TM) Family Fun Day
Saturday, November 15
11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Get ready for a math adventure, Cyberchase style! Meet Harry from the PBS series, Cyberchase. Explore the exhibit. Put your math skills to the test to chase down the answers to some tricky mathematical mysteries.
