Countdown to Mardi Gras!

Mardi Gras 2005 Downtown!
February 5, 2005 8:00p.m -2:00a.m.
$8.00 pre-sale tickets are available

Get ready for the 2005 Muncie Mardi Gras; list of things to do:
1.) Mark your calendar for Saturday evening 2/5.
2.) Call your friends and invite them to go to the best event in town.
3.) Buy your tickets in advance--call 765-282-7897.
4.) Decide to be creative this year and either rent a costume or make one!
5.) A mask is a MUST!
6.) Go to the downtown Muncie website to determine your schedule...you don't want to miss out on your favorite band. http://www.munciedowntown.com
7.) Play jazz music all week to get you in the groove!
8.) Bake a king cake.
9.) Buy your beads or wait and get them from one of the street vendors.
10.) Last but not least....get your summer clothes out cause they are predicting assume weather for Sat. night!

DOC’S: Singer/Songwriter Showcase

the Artist Within: each Wednesday from 3:30-5pm for 8 weeks classes by local potter Toren Scott, teaching Introduction to Hand built Ceramics. Fee $125 which includes all materials, studio fees and firing.

First Thursday; downtown art venues feature special exhibit/shows or are open this special evening.

Gordy’s : reception for artist, Margie Prim from 5-8pm.

the Artist Within: basic stringing, introductory beading class taught by Heidi Hale from 6-9pm Cost $45 includes materials and instructions to create a finished piece.
