News from the great group of Do It Downtown!

At our last meeting, there was a majority opinion that wanted to continue our Downtown Luminaries. This will be a much smaller version supported by the downtown merchants. We have contacted Ed Teal, the gentleman with carriage rides, to give carriage rides downtown on Dec. 2nd and 3rd. This will cost us $250 a night. We still need a couple of sponsors. So far we have $300 pledged. If you are willing to help out with the cost, contact Jay at Kirk's Bikes or Rod Crossland at Wishbone Gifts.

Holiday Walk update: Originally, we were going to have each business take care of their own area with set up, etc. Penny Prow arranged it so that Community Corrections will be setting up the luminaries for us.
