The Basement Returns to Muncie Children's Museum

The haunting season commences at the Muncie Children's Museum's on October 9, with The Basement! The faint of heart are not encouraged to attend The Basement to avoid being scared to death!

The Basement runs every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from October 9 through October 31. The 2008 hours of operation are:

Thursday, October 9 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.

Friday, October 10 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.

Saturday, October 11 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.

Thursday, October 16 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.

Friday, October 17 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.

Saturday, October 18 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.

Thursday, October 23 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.

Friday, October 24 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.

Saturday, October 25 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.

Thursday, October 30 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.

Friday, October 31 6:00 - 11:00 p.m.

Professor Michael Daehn, of the Ball State Theatre Education Department, is coordinating The Basement. Students from the Ball State Theatre Education Department will be using their creative minds to make the haunted house as frightening as ever.

The Muncie Children's Museum provides hands-on, educational and innovative learning. The Museum is located at 515 S. High St. Museum hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays-Saturdays and 1-5 p.m. Sundays. Admission is $6 a person ages 1-100.
