September Events at The Artist Within

The Artist Within will feature paintings by Lynnette Whitesell throughout September. "containments: works of a small town grandeur" is the exhibit of a series of paintings created by Lynnette while on an Indiana individual artist grant. An opening reception will be held Thursday, September 6 from 5-8pm.

Lynette is a painter exploring with acrylics and oils, on both canvas and panel. Lyn was born, raised and continues to reside in Hartford City , Indiana with her husband and three children. For nearly fifteen years, Lyn has worked as a graphic designer/illustrator and art director in the East Central Indiana area. For the past 8 years she's been employed at CS Kern as the Senior Art Director. She's won numerous design awards locally, regionally and nationally. Since 1998, Lyn's work has been displayed in numerous art shows, juried exhibitions and galleries throughout the midwest. Lyn actively participates as member at ArtWorks gallery of Muncie

Live music returns to the Artist Within! September 8th's Muncie Music Fest will highlight local talent and the Artist Within invites you to stop in for live jazz, coffees from the Blue Bottle, and a great atmosphere for painting pottery...should prove to be a great time!
