Indiana Community Theatre League Festival at Muncie Civic Theatre

Muncie Civic Theatre is hosting the Indiana Community Theatre League (ICTL) Festival on March 27th -29th. The festival's theme is "Taking a Bow" and is an annual competition of the best community theatre groups throughout the state of Indiana and there are eleven groups competing this year. Each group performs a portion of a show that is under 60 minutes and is judged by a panel of adjudicators. Prizes are awarded to the top two scoring theatre groups and additional prizes will be awarded for exceptional acting and a Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to a local and avid supporter of community theatre here in Muncie.

The top two theatre groups will go on to compete in the regional competition and will have a chance to qualify for the national competition in the summer. There will also be a silent auction taking place in the lobby throughout the festival, featuring donated items from local businesses and visiting theatre groups to help support Muncie Civic Theatre as the host for the festival. Hundreds of attendees from all over the state will be coming to Muncie for this exciting event!

All shows are open to the public and tickets are $6 per session and can be purchased at the door only and are general admission seating. This is an exciting opportunity to see portions of several shows and celebrate community theatre throughout the state!
