Muncie Children's Museum's 2008 Golf Outing

The Muncie Children's Museum is taking a swing at something new in 2008! On Monday, May 19, 2008, the MCM will host its first ever golf outing at Crestview Golf Course. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch before the 1:00 p.m. Shotgun Start. The prices are $50 per person, or $200 per foursome.

Golfers will enjoy lunch provided by Texas Roadhouse, and dessert from Muncie Frozen Custard.

There will be games and activities all day including mulligans and skins-games. Other games that day will include: men and women's closest to the pin, longest drive and longest putt with prizes for all of the winners.

The event sponsor for the 2008 MCM golf outing is Dewitt Foot and Ankle. Sponsors include such businesses as A-1 Graphics, Average Joe's Grill, Cardinal Home Medical, CS Kern, Dick and Jane Hughes, First Merchants Bank, Gaddis Hyundai, Happy Clean and Smart, Jeffrey Carter Jewelers, Toyota of Muncie, Wachovia and Walls Furniture.

Companies and individuals can also help by sponsoring holes, a drink cart and prizes for the event. If you, or your company, are interested in sponsoring a hole, the price is $50 per hole.

The Muncie Children's Museum provides hands-on, educational and innovative learning. The Museum is located at 515 S. High St. Museum hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays-Saturdays and 1-5 p.m. Sundays. Admission is $6 a person ages 1-100.
