More than 200 Artworks Featured at Cornerstone Art Show

The Second Annual Cornerstone Art Show will take place on April 15th, 2008, from 5:00-8:00 pm at Cornerstone Center for the Arts. This year, we have over two hundred pieces of art from students in several school systems and adult community members, and from our four featured artists.

The works range in ages from kindergarten to adult and features both two and three dimensional pieces such as paintings, photography, drawings, printmaking, serigraphs, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, and more. We will award prizes the night of the show in all age and art categories as well as a best overall prize.

The four featured artists are: Carol Cheney, Jasen Combs, Emily Leiserson, and Marilynn Price-Richard. These artists will have several pieces on display including jewelry, ceramics, paintings, drawings, and printmaking and will also be present to discuss their work and the creative process behind it.

This event is a free and family friendly art show. Light refreshments will also be served. Join us for an exciting evening of art work from the greater Muncie community!
