Gallery 308 Living Arts Series: Why Watercolor

"Why Watercolor" is the title of Gallery 308's Living Arts Series program Thursday, May 15 at 7:00 p.m. Juli Eflin, Pat Garofolo, and Yvonne Williams will discuss their individual and group experiences with watercolor.

They represent three of the "Four Femmes" being featured in May's exhibit, Four Femmes – Inner and Outer, running May 1 through May 29. These women will discuss why they chose to concentrate on watercolor as a medium of choice, why they are attracted to certain subjects to paint, why they like painting in a group, as well as working individually, and what their objectives are in their art process.

They will also mention the Pro-am revolution in art, of which they are a part. They will solicit responses from the audience and encourage questions and discussion about the ongoing exhibit. The program is free and open to the general public. Light refreshments will be served.
