A NOTE FROM DOTTIE DANNER: Susan is turning 60! Please join us on
Saturday, April 21st at Danner's to help Susan celebrate her 60th
Birthday! We will celebrate from 10am to 5pm. A piece of Dottie's home-made cake for everyone! :)

The Knitting Nook at Danner's is proud to introduce the Real Men
Knitting Group! Every Tuesday, from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, beginning on
Tuesday, April 10th, men of all levels of experience, even those who
want to learn how to knit, are encouraged to attend the Real Men
Knitting Group at Danner's. Cole Farrell, BookSeller/Knitter and Real
Man at Danner's will lead the group, with the help of Susan Danner,
Linda Gregory and Dottie Danner. There is no fee to attend any Knitting
Group at Danner's, nor registration. Danner's will have snacks, coffee
and soft drinks for all knitters.

Danner's welcomes local author Amber Rigby Grosjean to the bookstore on
Saturday, May 5th, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for the signing of her
new book, Cursed Blood. This book, the story of a woman who believes
that she is under a demonic curse when she is approached by a FBI agent
who claims he has a cure, is in the popular horror genre and is intended
for adults. Please come and meet this Muncie author!

On Saturday, May 19th, from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m., Danner's presents the
Tarot Workshop with Sherita. This Workshop is open to everyone and is a
beginning introduction to what Sherita is best known in Muncie for,
tarot card readings. The Workshop Fee is $15. Sherita recommends that
each student bring their own deck of tarot cards to the Workshop.
Danner's has a wide selection of tarot cards available for purchase for
those who do not have their own.

On Saturday, June 2nd, from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m., Danner's presents the
Basic Beginning Meditation Workshop with Sherita. This Workshop is open
to everyone and is for beginners. Sherita feels that her approach to
meditation is influenced by the Zen traditions. The Workshop Fee is $15.

On Saturday, June 16th, from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m., Danner's presents the
Reiki Workshop with Sherita. Reiki is the Japanese art of hands-on
healing without energy depletion. This Workshop is open to everyone and
is for beginners learning the art and for those interested in healing
with Sherita. The Workshop Fee is $15. Sherita recommends purchasing
Diane Stein's book, Essential Reiki: A Complete Guide to an Ancient
Healing Art, at Danner's for $18.95 for further instruction.

Continuing our year-long mission to raise awareness and funds for a
different local cause each month, Danner's has chosen Take Five
Community Outreach at 225 West Main Street in Muncie to help for the

money and goods to Take Five Community Outreach. All donations may be
dropped off at Danner's through the month of April.
