Upcoming Events at Minnetrista include Living Lightly, Saturday, September 20
9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Living Lightly is a FREE resource fair for sustainable lifestyles. Living Lightly is aimed at educating East Central Indiana residents about practical ways to live more sustainably, saving money and resources for themselves and future generations.

A Farmers Market Cooking Demonstration will be Saturday, September 27 at 9:00 a.m.
Enjoy this FREE cooking demonstration featuring chefs from the local chapter of the American Culinary Federation. All demonstrations include locally grown ingredients found at Farmers Market. Supported by Ball, Brought to you by Jarden Home Brands

Minnetrista Minne-trip: Indiana Art and Wine
Friday, September 12, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
What better way to experience Indiana art than to travel to beautiful Nashville, Indiana? We'll start our trip at Minnetrista with the exhibit, Open Space: Art About the Land. Then it's on to Nashville for a day of wine tasting, gallery exploration, and shopping. Tour the T.C. Steele State Historic Site, the last home and studio of Indiana artist Theodore Clement Steele, then enjoy lunch at the Story Inn restaurant.
Price: Members $35; Non-members $45
Registration Deadline: Tuesday, September 9
Space is limited. Lunch is included.

PBS Program Club
Wednesday, September 17, 2 - 4 p.m.
This month we'll watch and discuss an informative program about the presidency of
George H.W. Bush.
Price: free. Registration is requested.

Pickling 101
Wednesday, September 10, 6 - 7:30 p.m.
Have you picked a peck but are puzzled by pickling? Staff from Jarden Home Brands and Minnetrista will help you pickle perfectly in this hands-on workshop. Each participant will make a jar of pickles.
(Product will be ready to pick up Thursday, September 11).
Price: Members $10 per adult, Non-members $15 per adult

(Recommended for children ages 5-9)
A community can be as small as your house, or as big as the world. No matter how our communities change, or how much time passes, one thing remains the same, we're all connected. Join us as we discover how the choices we make can influence the world around us.
