This year's Ribfest will be held August 2nd, noon-10:00p.m and August 3rd 11:00a.m.-4:00p.m. in the streets of downtown Muncie.
Both days will feature entertainment with a wide variety of music, cool kids area with their own stage, karaoke elimination rounds and finals, car show, motorcycle run and show, Rib Contest and much more! Our hope is to bring out a wide variety of people with great food and a diversity of entertainment choices.

For Profit Food Vendor- $350 participation costs for RibFest 2008 includes 40 linear ft. of vendor space with a $25.00 fee for 110- $50/220 electricity, $10 for water hook-up. (important! please check box on application if service is required, otherwise hook-up will not be available). Tables and folding chairs are available at an additional cost and will only be available if requested prior to event.
Not for Profit Food Vendors- $150 fee applies only to not for profit organizations who provide 501C3 tax registration certificate with their application. All other information pertaining to for profit food vendors applies to not for profit groups.
Health Department- Health Department inspectors will be on site to evaluate and advise you on your booth set-up, hand washing provisions, as well as food prep, holding and handling the day of Ribfest. A mobile vending license is required for all food vendors and will be issued to vendors the day of the event at a cost of $10 after a Health Department official has inspected your booth; unless you hold a multiple event permit which can be obtained prior to the day of the event through the Health Department. There will be an inspection but no charge to those vendors who have a free standing establishment that is inspected by the BOH. Arts and Craft and Community Information Vendors- $25 fee
Business and Political Information Booths- $50.00 fee
In both cases you will have 10 linear feet of street, approximately 10ft. deep, available for booth space. You will be positioned on the street this year, alongside the food vendors. There will be 8ft. of sidewalk space behind your booth for storage. You will need to provide your own tent/cover. There is an additional charge of $25 for 110 electricity. (important! please check box on application if service is required, otherwise hook-up will not be available).
