"My Name Is Jerry" Update

My Name is Jerry is now is post-production, and we'd like to introduce you to our lead editor, Jess Carfield. Jess graduated from BSU in 2003 and moved to England to attend the London Film School where he received an MFA with an emphasis on cinematography and editing. Since then he has been working as a freelance editor and photographer mostly in the music world with such bands as the Smashing Pumpkins, Motley Crue, and Slipknot.

He is currently working on a rough assembly of the piece, and is on scenes in the 60s out of a total of 100, and so far he said that he "can see a team effort in the footage and is very impressed at how well the crew worked together".

As we have mentioned before, there is a LOT of material that was collected during filming that couldn't be immediately released, including a couple photos taken during scenes with Catherine Hicks, who plays Dana Holderman. Check them out here.

Hicks was in Muncie for one evening to film her scenes as Dana, an HR rep for Daemtech, a company Jerry applies for a job at. The shoot, which lasted until around 3 AM, was understandably time-crunched, but we managed to steal Hicks from the crew for a few minutes to talk with her about her role. Take a look!

In the News: My Name is Jerry has been featured recently on Journal and Courier and The Indianapolis Star.
