DBC Mixer Thursday 1/24 at Horizon Center

Don't miss the Downtown Business Council "Meet the Members Mixer" this Thursday, Jan. 24th from 5 to 7pm at the Horizon Convention Center. This month's After Hours Mixer will be a special co-op event with the Muncie-Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, Advertising Federation of East Central Indiana and Muncie Downtown Business Council.

These three groups of local professionals will have the opportunity to preview the entries for the ADDY Awards during the mixer. Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation of East Central Indiana, the local ADDY Awards is the first of a three tier national competition. The mission of the ADDY competition is to recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising. Attendees will enjoy an open house atmosphere with hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar while previewing the entries that will judged at a later date.

Our DBC "Meet the Members Mixers" are an excellent opportunity to network with your downtown peers, keep informed of downtown happenings, and learn all about the Downtown Business Council and our continued efforts to market your business and our downtown neighborhood. Members will be on hand to answer any questions about the Downtown Business Council, and membership applications will be available for anyone who wants to join.

The next DBC members meeting will be Wednesday, January 30th, at 3pm in the Star Press Building conference room.
