JULY EVENTS : 6th - Muncie Children's Museum - Friends & Family Fun Night, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is free. Join the Muncie & Western Model Railroad Club as the Museum officially opens its renovated Train Exhibit. Hands-on fun and more await train enthusiasts both young and old.

6th - Free Friday Night Movies Downtown featuring "Charlotte's Web." Movies begin at dusk and will be shown on the south wall of the Downtown Development office.

7th Muncie Ballet Studio: hosting fairy teas and dancing call for info 282-1480.

7th - Ballet master Valery Lantratov will be in the ballet studio on July 7th!!! We are going to have a ballet basics class for dancers age 7 and up. 3-4pm. A more advanced class will be offered for dancers in pointe shoes. 4-5:30. 9th-13th - Muncie Children's Museum - Meet The Masters Sensational Summer Camp. Enroll your child today in this stimulating, hands-on camp for budding artists. Children will explore drawing, painting, print-making and sculpture and learn about artists both past and present. A field trip to the BSU Museum of Art and a special camper art show are on the agenda as well. 12 - Grand Opening of The Downtown Farm Stand at the corner of Mulberry and Main streets. At that time they will have a complete but ever expanding grocery store product line, and be open longer hours throughout the week. In the meantime, the natural foods market will be open be open on Thursdays from 10 am - 7 pm.

13th - Muncie Young Professionals Group Annual Meeting & Social Event from 6-8pm upstairs level (above Overland Models; enter from the deck in back of building) Come enjoy free appetizers, music, and door prizes while mingling with other young professionals at the Muncie Young Professionals Group. 25th - The Downtown Business Council will meet Wednesday, June 27th, at 3:00 p.m. in the conference room at The Star Press building, 345 S. High St. Downtown Business Council is not limited to businesses and merchants. Residents, organizations and supporters of downtown in general are all encouraged to attend.

26th - Downtown Business Council will hve a "Meet the Members" mixer, from 5 to 7 pm at Doc's. Anyone is invited to attend and learn more about the Muncie Downtown Business Council.

The event will spotlight the Cornerstone Arts Program's summer classes, and it will also feature performances and booths from Cornerstone's partners and resident organizations. JULY ONGOING :

Through July - Artist Within feature sartwork of a former Muncie Southside student, Chuck McNally will be the featured artist for July. An artists reception will be at First Thursdays on July 5 from 5-8.

Through July - ArtWorks Gallery July Featured Artist is Bette Graham - Printmaker. "Summer Relief - Original Woodblock Prints" by Bette Graham, a Muncie artist, will be featured for the month of July at ArtWorks Gallery. Anartist reception will be held from on July 5th 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the gallery which is located on 301 S Walnut in Muncie,IN.Regular gallery hours are from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Through July - Gallery 308 invites the public to attend the opening reception for the annual Members' Show, a non-juried exhibition, July 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. The artists whose work is on display are Gallery members, and many of them will be on hand at the reception to discuss their work. Admission is free; light refreshments are provided. The Gallery's Members' Show is held annually in the month of July.
