I am very happy to hear that the gallery has found a new home. Muncie downtown needs a gallery - a place and a reason to draw people downtown. I will miss its old location, but believe that the new space will do what it needs to: act as a beacon for art-minded individuals. I wish the new owners of the former gallery space luck in finding a business willing and able to pay exuberant prices for business space in a downtown still struggling to draw paying patrons. You may find that it would have been safer to take a small loss (with tax write-offs for supporting a non-profit) than risk bankruptcy because of your inability to find a buyer.
