The Community Calendar says that the Midwest Fruit Jar Show is coming to the Convention Center on the 8th of this month, with a Coin & Stamp Show on the 22nd, followed by the Bridal Show on the 29th. These are all Sunday events, according to the calendar.

The Downtown Business Council is planning a mixer in January! Look for details to follow in this week email news.

The Downtown Business Council Executive Committee will meet on Tuesday, Jan. 24th @ 3:30; location to be announced. Please mark your calendars if you're a committee member, or if you just want to be a guest. You are always welcome! Call Genny Gordy at 284-8422 for more info.

6th DOC's First Friday's is Jazz Night: 7:00-8:30pm TGIFun hosted by Dr. Phil and John, the jazz fest starts at 9:00pm

6th Muncie Children's Museum Family Fun night 3-7pm

7th Minnestrista meet Dawn Davis, naturalist at the Eagle Creek Nature Center in Indianapolis and a few of her feathered friends - or birds of prey. Davis and friends will be located in the Spotted Owl Cafe from 10-11 a.m. and 1-2 p.m.

7th Muncie Civic Theater offering: Young Actors Workshop 9:30-12:30 for 10 weeks.

7th Muncie Children's Museum presents: Shonet Lambert-Martin, a Museum educator and local artist, will be presenting a special program at 2 p.m. featuring African American quilting styles and techniques.

16th Civic Theater presents Second City Best of Tour 8:00pm
