LYNYRD SKYNYRD CANCELS TOUR
MuncieDowntown.com has just received word from the folks at Downtown Development that Lynyrd Skynyrd has cancelled their show at the End of Summer Jam in Downtown Muncie, as well as the rest of their tour. Singer Jonnie Van Zant requires throat surgery to remove a vocal cord polyp.
Downtown Development is seeking a comparable headlining act so that the End of Summer Jam may go on as planned. Fans who have already bought tickets may return them at the point of purchase for a refund - or hang onto them, as they will be honored at the End of Summer Jam regardless of the headlining act.
