The Harvest Moon Film Festival will now be held on February 11, 12, and 13, 2010, due to the large number of responses prompting festival expansion. The festival will now include three days of film screenings instead of two. The festival will also include more films as well as more opportunities to view those films, making it the biggest event yet. Films will be screened both at Cornerstone Center for the Arts and Muncie Civic Theatre.
The festival will also include an expanded community component. Not only will there be workshops about the art of filmmaking, but local community members can also take part in open auditions to be added to a community actor database that will be a resource for local and regional film projects. Anyone interested in filmmaking as an actor, director, screenwriter, crew, etc. will have the opportunity to be added to an extensive database for networking and collaboration in future film projects.
This will be a great opportunity to view independent films, learn more about filmmaking, or become involved in upcoming films. Visit www.harvestmoonfilmfestival.com in the coming months for details!
