Celebrate July 4th in Downtown Muncie with fireworks on the levee at dusk. A free MITS shuttle will be provided every 15 minutes, starting at 8pm, from Northside Middle School and Southside High School parking lots. Downtown Muncie is gearing up for its most delicious event - RibFest 2009 returns to the streets of downtown Saturday, August 1st, from noon - 10pm and Saturday, August 2nd from 11am - 4pm. Through July - The entire month of July, admission to Minnetrista is just $4 per person. In addition to discounted admission, Minnetrista has partnered with local libraries to provide complimentary performances from Minnetrista Theatre Preserves and free admission passes.

Through July - Muncie Children's Museum - Make 'n Take. Included with admission. Come to the MCM every Tuesday, at 3:30 p.m., to take part in innovative and fun crafts in the Museum's Make 'n Take! Pre-registration is not required.

July 20 - 31 - Camp Minnetrista is for kids Pre-K to those who are entering sixth grade in the fall of 2009. Taking place on the Minnetrista grounds, the four week-long day camps are an exciting and educational experience for their children.
