June at the Artist Within will feature drawings, paintings and prints by local artist Jim Kierein. Jim, a Ball State University graduate, taught art in the Muncie Community School system for many years before his retirement.
He has worked in a variety of mediums over the years and this exhibit will showcase his talents in several of them. Drawings in graphite and prismacolor, woodcuts, watercolors and oils make up "Corn and More". Kierein's artwork will be on display from June 2-27, 2009 with an artists' reception Thursday June 4th from 5-8pm.
