4th Muncie Children's Museum Celebrate Black History Month by embarking on a journey through time at 2 p.m. with Indianapolis author Lois Burnett-Guyinn.
Discover inventions and contributions of African American inventors, scientists, engineers and architects as she reads from her book, Mrs. Townsend's Class. Meet creative characters such as Carbon Filament, Shoe Lasting Machine, the Ice Cream Cones, Traffic Signal and Railway Telegraph. This event is free with general Museum admission.

7th Minnestrista presents Sneak a Peek at the Beaks (for 4&5-Year-Olds) Tuesday, February 7, 9-10 a.m. and 4-5 p.m. Beaks come in all shapes and sizes. We'll use everyday items that are shaped like beaks to experiment with crushing and tearing food like a bird. This program includes a visit to the Hunters of the Sky exhibit.

11th - Muncie Children's Museum "Come As You Were" to International Night 2006
Who were you in high school? Were you an athlete, the homecoming queen or in the band? Take a trip back in time as the Muncie Children's Museum Guild hosts International Night on Saturday, February 11 from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Horizon Convention Center. It's time to pull out those puffy prom dresses, flip up your shirt collars or try on your old bell bottoms and platform shoes for an exciting evening full of dinner, dancing and much more.

1st-16th Mitchell Place Gallery presents an art exhibit that "tells the stories of 20 courageous Hoosiers living with HIV/AIDS who wanted to go public in this way to help diminish the stigma surrounding the disease."
