19th Annual A Taste of Muncie, on Sunday, April 24th from 4:00-6:30 at Cornerstone Center for the Arts. 24 Restaurants and caterers will be featured including Blue Bottle and Vera Mae's. All proceed will benefit Cornerstone in it's efforts to bring the art experience to all in our community. Tickets ar $20 per person or $18 if purchased in groups of 10 or more. The Christmas Committee will have its first meeting on Monday, April 25th @ 10 am @ the Blue Bottle. This will be a one hour visioning & organizing meeting. You are welcomed and encouraged to attend! If you can't serve on the committee this time but have some wonderful ideas, please pass them along to Genny Gordy (until a Chair is chosen), gengor@aol.com. Only 7 months until the holiday season arrives, and it is VERY IMPORTANT that we make a good impression this year!!!!

the Artist Within: is offering Bead workshops by Heidi Hale, pottery throwing classes by Toren Scott and a Summer Art Camp. Call for more details. New spring hours are: Sunday 1-4pm, Closed Monday, T-Thur 11-7pm and Friday 11-9pm.

Robert Cooper Audubon Society Bird-themed work of three local artists is now on display at ArtWorks, 301 S. Walnut St., as a fundraising effort of the Robert Cooper Audubon Society. Three of the items are part of a silent auction, which will conclude as a live auction at the Audubon Society's conservation awards banquet on April 18. A raffle for two items will continue at ArtWorks through April 21, ending at Ball State's Earth Day celebrations. Bids may be placed and raffle tickets may be purchased by visiting ArtWorks, located at 301 S. Walnut in Muncie, open 11:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Mon.-Sat. Phone: 288-2221. 5th - 31st David Dale Designs Fine Art Gallery will host an exhibit of works on canvas and paper by Indiana artists David Dale, Muncie, Mary Ann Davis, Indianapolis, and Carol Strock Wasson, Union City. Known for their landscapes, the artists will give painting demonstrations at their show opening and reception, 5:30 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 5th.

5th ArtWalk: 5:00pm-9:00pm all galleries and many downtown businesses open to the public. Outdoor music, entertainment and much more!!

5th Artworks Gallery : Featuring Heidi Hale's new spring line of jewelry. Heidi's jewelry is featured in four magazines: Southern Bride, Family Circle, Lurice Global Fashion and TWIST magazines. Wilson Winery will have samplings of their fine wines.

5th Gordy Fine Art & Framing Company Ball State art professor, Linda Arndt, and BSU art instructor, Mary Ann Rahe, will exhibit new works in ceramics, "Familiar Forms," during the month of May. The public is invited to a reception for the artists during the 3rd Annual ArtWalk event on Thursday, May 5th from 5 to 9 pm.

5th FB Fogg Celebrate spring by making a famous Fogg cabbage rose for Mom!! The first twenty Artwalk Visitors at FB Fogg can make a beautiful cabbage rose for free!!

5th News from our Organic Farmers Market: ECI Natural Heritage Farmer's Market, will return to downtown Muncie; Thursday evenings from 4pm to 7pm in the green space on the corner of Walnut and Charles Streets; Beginning May 5th. The Ring Family Farm (Dave and Sara) expects to expand in many areas; you will see more strawberries, greens, specialty salad mixes, heirloom vegetables including tomatoes, and cut herbs. With Dave's new job as BSU Banquet and Catering Sales and Service Supervisor, they hope to add free range egss and wine cap mushrooms to their list this year. Artcamp 2005 will be offered at two locations this summer in downtown Muncie. Gordy Fine Art & Framing, 224 E. Main St., will be the site for Preschool Camp, June 13 - 17, and Cultures Camp, June 20-24. The Artist Within, at 313 S. Walnut, will offer Clay Camp July 27-July 1.
